Cheryl Clark started Aura Marketing in April, 2003.
Cheryl specializes in strategic marketing planning, marketing communications, content development, graphic design, advertising and website development. She has over 20 years of marketing experience in private industry, non-profit organizations and consulting.
She was previously the Communications Manager/Editor for the Strategic Economic Development Corporation (SEDCOR) of the Mid-Willamette Valley, Oregon, where she was responsible for numerous publications and research projects. Prior, she was the Outreach Program Manager for the Willamette Restoration Initiative (WRI), a group formed by Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber during his first term to formulate strategies for cleaning up the Willamette River; and Director of Public Programs and Marketing for Mission Mill Museum. She worked for Sunset Magazine for several years in both Oregon and Colorado as an Account Manager, handling advertising accounts for the travel sections and focusing on Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. She has also been a research consultant to maple syrup producers in the St. Johnsbury area of Vermont.
Cheryl has a B.A. in English, Creative Writing from UCLA; and a MBA in Marketing from the University of Colorado.
